"Doctor John! What can I say!

We were so lucky to have had a friend refer him to us when we fell pregnant with our firstborn in 2016. Being our first born and knowing that a caesarean was likely, due to a back injury, we wanted a doctor to guide us through the journey and look after us, not just during birth but also the lead up. Doctor John was our go-to for any and all advice regarding my pregnancy and it was due to his guidance our pregnancy went smoothly and we calmly and confidently delivered Xavier in March 2017.

The care that Doctor John showed us that day in an otherwise clinical environment is a true testament to him - not just as an obstetrician but also as a kind hearted man. It also meant when it came to choosing a doctor for our triplets (yes triplets!) there wasn’t a choice - it was always going to be Doctor John!

Which brings me to our triplet pregnancy in 2019. I honestly could not have been in better care and felt very nurtured the whole pregnancy. Being such a high risk pregnancy he constantly monitored me and worked closely with the obstetrics team. Doctor John always had faith in me that I could make it to 35 weeks with the triplets and that I did with his care, giving our girls the best start possible to their life!

To see how excited he was about delivering the triplets was so heart warming! He was just like a proud dad!
When I look back at my birth video and photos all I see is the big brilliant smile of Doctor John as he delivered each baby and I know he was just as emotionally invested in the birth as we were. I will never forget the kiss he gave me on my forehead after both births- a great big ‘We did it’ and to me that says more about him and the care he provides than anything else!"
